a few pictures of today's playdate

I took just a couple of pictures before my batteries died, so I'm posting those. Mel took more pictures (including one of my growing belly... so at Sarah's request, I'll be posting that soon!) Lauren Clay and Riley had a great time playing on the big slide in the backyard. They were a hoot! I enjoy watching them interact. I'm not sure if it's the age difference or the gender difference, but they play really well together. Lauren Clay kind of follows Riley around (she might be driving him crazy), but he puts up with her. He had all his Star Wars characters out when we arrived because he thought Lauren Clay would enjoy playing with them. I love having Mel and her family close. I look forward to our boys interacting in a few years! I also look forward to the Sherrard princess arriving and playing with the rest of the crew (Kimberly joined us today, too.) Kimberly only has a few more months of responsibility-free play dates! In a couple of years, she'll be the one standing at the top of the slide helping her little one go down.
