I guess it was either a relatively mild morning yesterday during our walk, or pregnancy is really throwing off my sense of temperature, because the past two days we have had record-breaking temps. We hit the 100 degree mark yesterday, and today's heat index is supposed to make it to 105. Not sure how I felt comfortable on a walk on the hottest day of year, but I'm not complaining. Just wanted to post a disclaimer for those of you who think I'm crazy for calling near-100 degree weather pleasant.
Update: We went to the pool with Grandaddy and Grandmother (Lauren Clay is now calling her "Grandmother" instead of Nonnonner), and our first storm in weeks moved in soon after we arrived. The temperature dropped super-quickly-- from 101 to the mid-70's in a matter of minutes! We ended up with mild temperatures yesterday afterall, but it was too stormy to enjoy them...
