today's the day!

I have a few hours before we head over to the hospital to deliver JohnTyler! I was kind of anxious yesterday (nearly called to see if we could wait until Monday to see if I don't go into labor by the due date), but after prayer and lots of little confirmations, I'm at peace with moving forward with things today. I'm excited now... and I know John can't wait to get his hands on his son! The last supper was mom's chicken and dressing casserole, cranberry sauce, green beans, and grapes, as well as some Halloween candy for dessert. It was good and I was stuffed last night, but I am quite hungry (and thirsty) this morning. Of course, with Lauren Clay I wasn't able to eat or drink for the 36 hours I labored before the c-section, so this is easy! I told John that when they'll let me have something, I want a pumpkin spice latte from Starbucks. With Lauren Clay, I wanted canned peaches :)
Halloween was really fun last night. Lauren Clay did put on her frog outfit and trick-or-treated with abandon. She was really into it. I have some great pictures, but I'll have to upload those later. John removed them all from the camera to make room for the big events that are about to unfold today!
