Littlest Cats Fan

Ty was born on an off week for Kentucky football, so he's gearing up for his first game this afternoon. Here he is sporting a UK hat and booties (these were actually a gift to Lauren Clay from our cousin-in-law, Scott.) The UK football is the real deal-- his grandaddy Ben had Coach Brooks sign it for him for his birthday. Ironically, Lauren Clay is currently cheering on either Tennessee or Arkansas this afternoon in Knoxville; mom and dad took her along for dad's game this weekend. She has an all-access pass. When I talked to them earlier, she and mom were sitting in the luxury boxes snacking on spinach dip and rasperry and cream sweets. I think they are planning to go down to the field at some point to meet Smokey. Hopefully they won't visit the locker rooms...
This picture is a typical scene around here these days. Lauren Clay had just returned from the Doodlebops concert with grandmother. She should have been in bed at this point, but how could we resist both kids wanting to cuddle with their dad? We all love having John home with us. Thank the Lord (and the federal laws) for paternity leave! It's wonderful.

I love the picture with John and the kids. I am impressed also that you are keeping up on the blog. Glad you are....since it might just take too much effort to get in my car and drive almost a whole mile to see you! ;) Be thinking about what you want to eat on Thursday. Karen

Seth has the same bouncer seat:)... How is it working out? Seth wouldn't sleep in the crib flat so we always put his bouncer seat in the crib with him in it... hey, maybe that would help keep TY's pants on:)
