Our tradition on Mother's Day is to stroll Gratz Park at the Mayfest, and this year my additional Mother's Day request was to plant flowers, herbs and a few veggies in the backyard with the kids. Since the weather Sunday was windy and rainy, we celebrated inside. We started the day at the nursing home then went to see Lilly's Purple Plastic Purse at the Children's Theatre with mom in the afternoon. In the pictures below, John's reading Lilly to the kids. Lauren Clay loves to march around the house now and say, "I am Lilly! I am queen! I love everything!"

Both kids are napping now. I usually have a 45-minute window in the afternoons when both are asleep. The clock is ticking so I'm off to use the time productively!

You need to have John take the pictures so it will look like "mother's day" and not father's day! K
