"I'm inking"

The first time Lauren Clay said, "I'm inking," I thought she was quoting the little squid in Finding Nemo. Here's what she really meant:

I looked through the calendar I kept for Lauren Clay and learned that she didn't crawl for another month and a half (but by this point, she would stick her tongue out at us!) Just like Ty, she was teething by now, but had nothing to show for it until the end of 7 months. I bet Ty's going to be the same way.

A funny thing happened this week: I got up Tuesday, dressed myself and the kids, and headed to drop Lauren Clay off for Mom's Day Out so I could take care of my to-do list. I was well prepared, since I knew this was Lauren Clay's last week of MDO. We drove up to the church and the parking lot was empty. Turns out, LAST week was the last week (Lauren Clay was out with strep.) Since we were dressed and had lunch packed, we called Kristina and Libby and headed to the park to have a picnic and play. It was a fun afternoon after all-- too bad we didn't take any pictures to document the fun afternoon! I did snap a picture of the kids in their Georgetown gear:
