Friday

These past few days I've had the camera on hand, a new SD card plugged in with ample room for pictures and video, charged batteries, and time to post to the blog. We've had another fun day today; hopefully you'll sense that in these pictures.

We had a fun playdate this morning. Haley (right) has a very new baby brother, also named Tyler. Haley is about a week older than Lauren Clay.
The girls had a big time playing in the sand and splashing in the pool. In the picture below, they are looking for the water that was in the plastic container before they filled it with sand. When I told them that the sand had soaked up the water, Libby said, "Oh, we're gonna find it. Lauren Clay said she just saw it." I love listening to the girls' conversation-- precious.
While I was getting dinner ready tonight, Lauren Clay helped feed Ty. She's very helpful, and really good with him.
Unfortunately, her aim is not great and his eating habits are not neat. Maybe I should choose something other prunes when she feeds him next time:

Lauren Clay has been practicing hopscotch a lot lately. She's getting better each day. Since I've posted lots of Ty videos lately, it's past time to post a Lauren Clay snip:

It's late and I'm planning to run with the Southland group in the morning, so I'm off to bed!

What a quick post; you are good! Libby loves to play hopscotch as well. I too have marveled at how she has progressed through the school year, learning to hop on one foot, etc. I have to remind myself during the trying times with her that this really is a fun age. We made the upstairs loft an office/den and she was not happy that her playroom had moved into her castle bedroom. She was letting me know that when Papa and Daddy got here with the furniture that she was going to tell them to take it downstairs. My how we have spoiled her with the whole upstairs to herself! I thought this wouldn't come until the teen years! Thank goodness for hosting Bunco or nothing would get done around here. Our turn to host the playdate next time, K
