lion

I've already told a lot of friends this story, but have still been meaning to post it for a week now. Still cracks us up when we think about it...

Last week, I woke up to what sounded like a ROAR at about 5 AM. When I heard it a second time, I realized John was making the sound in his sleep. So I kind of nudged him and asked, "Are you roaring???" He replied that he wasn't, and went back to sleep. Later that morning when we were more lucid, I asked if he remembered making a loud noise in his sleep. He did. And he was roaring. Come to find out, he had been dreaming that the Geico caveman was chasing our family (yeah, this guy:
)
John figured the best way to communicate with a caveman-- and to let the guy know he wasn't going to get us-- was to roar. So John roared a couple times. I kind of wish I wouldn't have woken him up, just to hear how the dream played out!

John did agree to let me share this story with the blog readers :)

On that note, I have to say that we have found ourselves laughing hysterically AT ourselves lately. It's the kind of thing where one of us will start to tell a story about something silly we've done, and we'll get so tickled in the process that we can't make it through the story... but by that point, we already have the other person laughing because of our own hysteria. Laughter is good medicine, and we're giving each other lots to laugh about!
