Crazy Tuesday

We had quite a storm here Tuesday. Here's a picture of the ice that was still in our yard 3.5 hours after the storm that raced through Lexington. We had a sort of hail drift in one of our flower beds, and John measured it at a little over 4 inches deep (again, over 3 hours after the storm!) Our poor flowers and veggies took a beating. I think we are going to have to buy a new canteloupe plant; the existing one only has a few bare stems left. Our hostas look like someone shot them with a pellet gun.
