Here's the Dora 4 wheeler from Papa. Lauren Clay loves it. She still can't steer too well (she runs into things), but she is improving. We are also trying to teach her to keep her eyes on the "road"-- she likes to turn around and look at us as she drives away!
I had visions of decorating a cake with Goofy on it, but when time got tight, I resorted to a doing a quick overall frost, then writing happy birthday and drawing a couple of flowers. Lauren Clay didn't know the difference-- it tasted just as yummy!
Mom got a big bubble wand for us to play with at the party. We actually forgot about it until late in the party, when most of Lauren Clay's friends had already left to take naps. At this point, the party had moved into the front yard, and mostly just family was left to enjoy the very fun bubbles.
