A window on our world

John took this on the night if the total eclipse recently:
The below shot displays one of the color-themed school lunches I mentioned in yesterday's blog. Red and orange day was the day Fayette Co Schools dismissed early, so we ate the lunch at home. I took a picture because the meal was so pretty (not to mention the precious princess eating that lunch.) She has her hand in the bag of tomatoes; ate those first, over the mandarin oranges and strawberries. By the way-- for friends considering feeding the rainbow to kids, try edamame on green day. You can get it at Kroger in the frozen foods; it comes in a steamable bag. The Kroger brand is even on sale this week (we had some for dinner... delish!) Here's the little prince lounging on the Princess couch:
The scene below cracked us up. Lauren Clay pulled the Boobah onto the couch to sit with her. I find it creepy (those things are supposed to promote exercise... which maybe explains why childhood obesity levels are on the rise.) Anyway, here Lauren Clay and the Boohbah are wearing the same expression.
Tea for Two... a teaser for the video in the link below:
