I have 10 minutes before I have to leave the office to pick up Lauren Clay. Instead of starting a new project, I'm using these 10 minutes to post some updates. I intended to post at least 4 times yesterday with various fun topics...
Comparisons:
Ty had his 4 month appt yesterday. He's cleared to start cereal, fruits and veggies. I thought we waited at least another month to introduce foods to LaurenClay, but she actually tried her first "real" food (pears) at about 4.5 months. I'm interested to see if Ty eats as well as his sister.
At 4 months, Ty and Lauren Clay weighed 15 lbs 6 oz and 15 lbs 4 oz respectively (50th percentile.) Ty is subsantially longer, though (90th percentile), so he looks leaner than she did at this point. I can't believe they were within 2 ounces of each other at this age!
Welcome, Spring:
Yesterday we had a welcomed reprieve from winter with temperatures flirting with the 70's. Neighbors were out, people wore shorts to give their pastey winter legs a breath of spring air, and I asked John when we can reattach the flower boxes we removed when we replaced our windows. On our way home from Mom's birthday dinner, Libby wanted to know when LC could do a sleep over. Then she said it was a girls sleepover, you and me included, while the Daddies were at work. She named them and the dogs and said 8 is too many! She is so funny. K
