Latest Painting

I have not had much time to paint lately. I have a few paintings in the works, but inspiration and a chunk of time have to come together simultaneously for me to produce something I'm willing to share, and those two have not happened at the same time in many months. I've put off the following painting for a long time because I don't do well with straight-on faces, but this worked out afterall. It reminds me of a page out of a childrens' book.
